About Selfridges

Selfridges had a requirement for new normal and emergency lighting on 5th and 6th floor roof levels for the new proposed means of escape walkways at Selfridges, Oxford Street building.

The proposed system used maintained self-contained IP65 light fittings for normal lighting and emergency lighting. The normal lighting is now controlled by PIR’s incorporated within each light fitting. The emergency lighting are also monitored using a wireless control system housed within the light fittings. The works also included the strip out of existing normal and emergency lighting and all associated electrical wiring.

The building services elements within the works included the design, specification, supply and installation of the entire mechanical and electrical scheme for the new Homeless Hub.

The Scheme included

  • New VRF system including internal air cassettes and outdoor units.
  • Public health installation including new kitchen, hot and cold-water pipework, electric point of use water heaters, water meter etc.
  • Above ground drainage installation.
  • Electrical installation including distribution boards, wiring, containment, electricity smart meter, sockets and lights/switching.
  • Telecommunications and data installation including incoming supplies.
  • Access control system.
  • Security system.
  • Hard-wired fire alarm system with link to existing landlords system.
  • Panic and disabled alarm systems.

Greenlight Carried out a full M&E Dilapidation and Validation at The Malaysian Embassy’s 8 storey Building in Central London.

The report from the Validation showed poor upkeep of the installation. Greenlight acted quickly to get the building back up to standard, including a full LED upgrade. A overhaul and replacement of much of the Mechanical Plant, Building Management System and Air Conditioning Systems all within the original timeframe set by the client.

GreenLight carried out the MEP fit-out to various floors, Reception, the annex, and newly formed bike store and showers works included new VRF System, LED upgrade, and Main LV distribution. GreenLight carried out an MEP Fit-out to preserve and restore the traditional designs that beautifully complement any wedding or social event. Modern integrated facilities have also been brought in to create flexible spaces that are ideal for conferences, meetings & exhibitions.

The Athenaeum Hotel

The Athenaeum, Green Park

About The Athenaeum

This 5-star hotel overlooking Green Park and just down the road from Hyde Park Corner.

This fast-track high-end hotel project in Mayfair involved  demolition to the existing Front of House space including restaurant and first floor meeting rooms.

Extensive structural alterations took place to move the  original entrance location and form a double-height glazed frontage created using architectural glazed metalwork, new bronze cladding for the entrance and structural glass.

Removal of the first-floor arrangement made way for a new atrium, we then moved through the building to fit-out to a new restaurant, whisky bar, lobby, reception, meeting rooms, and private dining space. All areas of the project involved the design and installation of high-end finishes, inclusive of new bars, joinery, stonework and polished plaster.

The hotel remained fully operational during the course of the works and the project was delivered on time without compromising the high quality and our delivery standards.

The Campus at London Business School is constantly evolving to cater to the growing number of staff, faculty, and students.

GreenLight completed a full mechanical and electrical refit to the Plowden Lower Ground floor area, to create a new Collaborative Learning Classroom (CLC). The area is now state of the art with cutting edge technology to give students the very best learning experience. 

GreenLight worked non-tradition hours to make sure this remained a teaching environment so that the space now can accommodate up to 96 students. We created a space that is now revolutionary as the first place in the world to be set up with a twin-screen WIFI-independent teaching process.

GreenLight have completed full refurbishment for 13 units at this large business park in Basingstoke. Chineham Park is a 815000 sq ft mixed use business park, with a large range of industrial and office spaces.

These have been full internal CAT A and B refurbishments which included installing EV Charging as well as other measures including LED upgrades and replacement of out of date sanitary wear to new water-efficient sanitary equipment.
