Electrical Safety Inspections
When an electrical safety inspection is agreed, a thorough examination of the electrical system is checked, ensuring all electrical wires, systems, and components meet legal safety standards. The National Electrical Code (NEC) is the code that all electricians operate under when examining any buildings. Upon completion of your electrical inspection, GreenLight engineers will provide a detailed, checklist including areas in need of immediate attention, recommendations for improvements, and potential upgrade possibilities.
Electrical wiring such as sockets, fuse boards, and light fittings can decline due to age, wear and tear. This can lead to risk of potentially fatal electric shock or fire. Therefore, a periodic inspection is recommended every 10 years for private homes, and more regularly for rented homes. At GreenLight, we regularly carry out these important safety checks and provide our clients with a full written report identified as Electrical Installation Condition Report (E.I.C.R.).
GreenLight has a proven track record for delivering a professional, high quality and cost-effective testing service for all types of electrical appliance and installations.
