A leading UK logistics real estate provider appointed GreenLight to carry out sustainability-focused upgrades as part of a large-scale warehouse dilapidation project, covering a 113,000 sq ft facility in Southampton.

As the site transitioned for future tenancy, there was a need to enhance the building’s energy performance and resilience. The client required roofing and solar PV upgrades that would improve the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating while also ensuring long-term durability and compliance.

GreenLight delivered a full roofing and solar PV package under a JCT Design & Build contract in just 16 weeks.

Scope of Works:

•Installation of a new roof covering with a 20-year guarantee

•Integration of solar PV panels to boost energy efficiency

•Addition of skylights to maximise natural daylight within the facility
